DS Machinery has been providing CNC controls retrofits for over 25 years. We have sucessfully integrated over 200 controls from simple 2 axis machines, to sophisticated 5 axis machines. If your machine needs mechanical updates we can help with that too. We offer 24/7 support and have over 60 years of experience on staff. We supply only UL 508A (National Electric Code requirement) compliant controls.
We offer controls for Do It Your Self refits. We design and build a UL 508A cabinet with the ladder and all parameters preloaded for you. If you get hung up, we have engineers on call 24/7 to help out. Our DIY kits include 1 engineer on site for three days to complete the refit. 2 axis machines with analog spindle control starting under $50k 3 axis with analog spindle just over $50k
In our 25 plus years of refits we have learned the number one concern of customers is downtime! We design our controls to limit the amount of downtime on the machine. This is accomplished via the use of umbilical cords between cabinets, and pre-manufacture of wiring harnesses.
We stock the long lead time components so customers that need a control ASAP can get a control quick. In addition our panel shop will build a UL 508A registerd control normally within 2 weeks.
