CUSTOM DO IT YOURSELF RETROFIT
Our DIY retrofits come with a 3 year warranty provided by DS Machinery and Fanuc America. We offer custom Do It Yourself controls. This gives you great cost savings, if you have the staff. But there are additional benifits. Your staff will learn and understand the machine and the control better. This will undoubtably reduce downtime in the future, and give them the confidence to repair the machine as they helped build it.
Benifits of our DIY
You are not locked in to a single cabinet that does not fit your machine or application. You can speficy a free standing, wall mount, pedestal, or even a custom sized back panel.
The ladder is prewritten and all parameters are set and loaded. You are given a hard copy and electronic copy of all documentation, and a step by step instructional. If you get stuck we can finish the refit for you at a flat hourly and expenses rate. (Subject to schedule availability)
You have the option of contacting us at any time! WE HAVE ENGINEERS AVAILABLE 24/7. If your staff has a problem, we can help. When the refit is over the support is still there to assist with brekdowns. Our DIY kits include one engineer on site for three days to help complete the refit, and tune the servos.
Our cabinets are built by our UL certified panel shop, to UL508A standards, as required by National Electric Code. This insures you don't have any surprises from the Local Building Inspector, Bank, or Insurance Company.
We use cable glands on the cabinet. We cut holes on all four sides of the cabinet to mount a cable gland (included) for easy wiring of armature and feedback cables to the control. (Note: 3 holes are covered with a cover plate) We use extra large wire troughs to help insure the cabinet stays clean.
